로스앤젤레스에 본사를 둔 사모펀드 회사인 레빈 라이흐트만 캐피탈 파트너스(Levine Leichtman Capital Partners, 이하 LLCP)는 지난 2월 22일(현지시각)  워렌 에쿼티 파트너스(Warren Equity Partners)로부터 USA워터(USA Water)를 인수했다고  발표했다. 거래의 재무 조건은 공개되지 않았다.

텍사스(Texas)주 로젠버그(Rosenberg)에 소재한 USA 워터는 미국 남동부 전역의 상하수도 시스템에 대한 운영 및 유지보수(O&M) 서비스를 제공하는 선도적인 업체다. 

USA 워터의 비재량 서비스를 통해 지방 자치 단체와 유틸리티 사업 구역은 물 인프라 유지 관리, 자산 관리 및 규제준수 요구 사항을 전문 파트너에게 맡길 수 있다. 

USA 워터의 업계 최고의 기술 전문과 포괄적인 서비스는 깨끗하고 고품질 물 접근에 대한 무결성, 안전성 및 신뢰성을 보장한다.

매튜 리치(Matthew Rich) LLCP의 파트너는 “물 인프라 서비스의 선도적인 O&M 제공업체 중 하나인 USA 워터와 파트너를 맺게 돼 기쁘다”라며 “USA 워터는 ‘고객 최우선’ 문화와 동급 최고의 서비스로 충성도가 높은 고객을 두고 있으며 지속적인 성장 실적을 이끌었다”고 말했다. 

매튜 리치는 이어 “Jeff 및 USA 워터팀과 협력하여 유기적인 이니셔티브와 전략적 인수를 통해 LLCP의 서비스와 지리적 입지를 넓힐 수 있게 돼 기쁘다”고 말했다

USA 워터는 제프 헤일리(Jeff Haley) CEO와 기존 경영진이 계속 이끌 것이며, LLCP와 함께 USA 워터의 상당한 지분을 유지할 것이다.

Levine Leichtman Capital Partners Acquires USA Water

Levine Leichtman Capital Partners (“LLCP”), a Los Angeles-based private equity firm, announced today that it has acquired USA Water (the “Company”) from Warren Equity Partners in partnership with management. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

USA Water will continue to be led by CEO Jeff Haley and the existing executive team, who will maintain significant equity ownership in the Company alongside LLCP.
