바이오 UV 그룹(BIO-UV Group)은 2월 20일(현지시각) 피너클(Pinnacle Ozone Solutions)과 유럽, 중동, 아프리카 및 아시아 지역에서 쿼드블록 오존 수처리 제품(QUADBLOCK Ozone Water Treatment Products)을 활용하기 위한 파트너십을 체결했다고 발표했다.

피너클은 북미 산업 시장에서 가장 큰 오존 기술 공급업체 중 하나로, 특허를 받은 첨단 오존 기술은 바이오 UV 그룹의 오존 제품 용량을 >30㎏/h로 증가시켜 시장에 대한 접근성을 전 세계적으로 확장할 것으로 기대된다. 

피너클은 북미 대륙에 걸쳐 수처리 솔루션 범위를 구축하기 위한 바이오 UV 그룹의 전략을 상호 지원할 방침이다. 

바이오 UV 그룹은 프랑스 지역수출 영업 관리자 등 팀으로 구성된 네트워크를 통해 피너클의 쿼드블록 첨단 오존 기술을 유럽, 중동, 아프리카 및 아시아 전역에 판매하고 제조해 공급할 계획이다. 

이 파트너십은 '고객 최우선' 애프터마켓 비즈니스 프로그램(Customer First Aftermarket Business Programme)의 일환으로, 시스템 교육과 설치, 유지 관리 서비스를 제공할 예정이다. 

사이먼 마샬(Simon Marshall) 바이오 UV 그룹 부총괄 책임자는 "피너클과 파트너십을 맺고 글로벌 시장에서 회사의 브랜드와 오존 기술력을 더욱 확고히 하게 돼 기쁘다"며 "피너클 포트폴리오는 우리의 수처리 솔루션 범위를 완벽히 보완하고, 결합된 제품은 더 넓은 범위에 걸쳐 물과 폐수 처리에 대한 완전한 스펙트럼을 포괄한다"고 말했다.

로랑 에마뉘엘 미건(Laurent Emmanuel Migeon) 바이오 UV 그룹 최고경영자(CEO)는 "피너클이 제시한 문화와 가치, 성장에 대한 목표가 회사에 매우 적합하다고 느낀다"며 "파트너십을 통해 북미 시장을 활용할 수 있을 것"이라고 밝혔다. 

바이오 UV 그룹의 트라이오젠 오존(Triogen Ozone) 제품군은 현재 시장의 소규모 제품을 대상으로 하고 있으며, 최대 2㎏/h로 O3를 출력할 수 있다. 쿼드블록 제품군은 이 용량을 늘릴 뿐 아니라, 회사가 훨씬 더 큰 프로젝트를 처리할 수 있도록 한다.

찰스 척 스미스(Charles Chuck Smith) 피너클 공동 창립자는 "이번 파트너십으로 광범위한 판매 채널을 통해 북미에서 바이오 UV 그룹의 영향력을 강화하는 동시에 유럽 및 그 너머로 확장할 수 있다"며 "양사는 서비스를 제공하는 시장에서 프리미엄 포지셔닝을 제공하고 기술 및 전망 측면에서 같은 목표를 공유하고 있다"고 강조했다.

바이오 UV 그룹은 오는 4월부터 유럽, MEA, APAC 등 시장에 피너클의 제품을 공급하기 위해 영국 트리오젠(Triogen) 공장의 생산량을 늘릴 예정이다. 이에 따라 피너클은 미국, 캐나다 등 시장에 제품을 지속적으로 공급할 계획이다.

BIO-UV Group and Pinnacle Partner up on ozone water treatment

BIO-UV Group has agreed to enter into an exclusive partnership agreement with US-headquartered Pinnacle Ozone Solutions to leverage the company’s QUADBLOCK ozone water treatment products in Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia.

Florida-based Pinnacle is one of the largest suppliers of ozone technology in the North American municipal, aquaculture, and industrial markets. Pinnacle’s patented advanced ozone technology will increase BIO-UV Group’s ozone product capacity to >30 kg/h, which will open a much larger market opportunity worldwide.

Reciprocally, Pinnacle will support BIO-UV Group’s strategy to establish its range of water treatment solutions across the North American continent.

France-based BIO-UV Group, a European leader in chemical-free water treatment disinfection technologies, through its network of eight Regional Export Sales Managers and team in France, will market, manufacture under license, and supply Pinnacle’s proprietary QUADBLOCK advanced ozone technology across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific. The partnership will also provide system training, installation, and maintenance services as part of its expanding “Customer First” aftermarket business programme.

“The Pinnacle portfolio perfectly complements our range of water treatment solutions. The combined product range covers the complete spectrum of water and wastewater treatment requirements across a greater range of industries, including aquaculture, municipal, industrial, and leisure.”

CEO Laurent Emmanuel Migeon added: “We have taken our time to identify the right partner and we feel that the culture, values, and ambition for growth presented by Pinnacle are an excellent fit for BIO-UV Group. In partnership we can leverage the North American market with only a very limited investment.”

BIO-UV Group’s Triogen ozone range is currently geared toward the smaller end of the market, with O3 outputs up to 2kg/h. The QUADBLOCK range will increase this capacity and enable the company to address much larger projects.

BIO-UV Group will increase production capacity at its Triogen plant in the UK, to deliver Pinnacle products to Europe, MEA, and APAC markets from April 2024. Pinnacle will continue to supply the markets of the USA, Canada, and Latin America.
