환경 컨설팅 및 지속가능한 엔지니어링 전문 사모펀드 지원 기업인 버던터스(Verdantas)는 1월 16일(현지시각) 플랫우즈 컨설팅 그룹(Flatwoods Consulting Group)을 인수했다고 발표했다.

미국 플로리다주(Florida) 탬파(Tampa)에 본사를 둔 플랫우즈는 생태 및 환경 규제 분야의 전문지식을 갖춘 약 40명의 전문가를 통합해 버던터스의 역량을 크게 향상시켰다. 또한, 미국 남동부 지역의 유틸리티 회사, 물관리 구역, 폐기물 관리기관 등에 서비스를 제공해온 실적을 보유하고 있다. 플랫우즈는 미국의 지속가능한 에너지 전환을 지원하기 위해 버던터스가 전력 시장에서 영역을 확장할 수 있도록 지원한다.
