[이탈리아] 드노라, '전기 염소화 시스템' 배치하여 '코로나 19' 방역 지원
드노라(De Nora)는 이탈리아 밀라노 인근 이탈리아 북부에 4대의 '전기 염소화 시스템(electrochlorination systems)'을 배치하여 '코로나 19(COVID-19)' 예방을 위한 시민 보호부의 노력을 지원하고 있다.
이 '전기 염소화 시스템(electrochlorination systems)'은 단단한 표면의 소독에 적합한 염소 등가물인 차아염소산나트륨을 생산하며, 세계보건기구(WHO)에 따르면 '코로나 19(COVID-19)' 바이러스의 확산에 효과적이다.
드노라(De Nora)의 루카 부오네바(Luca Buonerba) 마케팅·비즈니스 개발 책임자는 "이탈리아 시민보호의 조정과 신속성으로 인해 드노라가 다량의 차아염소산나트륨의 현장 생산을 위해 4개의 단위를 제공했다"고 말했다.

차아염소산염은 간단한 염수 용액(물과 소금)과 전기를 사용하여 염소 기반 용액을 생산한다.
드노라는 이미 중국, 일본, 싱가포르에서 발생한 '코로나 19(COVID-19)' 발병에 대응하여 사무실과 생산지의 위생과 소독을 위한 유사한 시스템을 제공하고 있다.
중국 난캉(Nankang)시는 건물 등 공공장소 소독에 도움을 주기 위해 원래 정수용으로 공급된 드노라(De Nora)가 공급하는 2개의 시스템을 사용하고 있다.

De Nora Supports Italian Civil Protection Agencies In The Fight Against The Coronavirus - COVID-19 Pandemic
Industrie De Nora S.p.a. (De Nora), is supporting the efforts of the Civil Protection Department by deploying four electrochlorination systems in northern Italy, near Milan.
The electrochlorination systems produce sodium hypochlorite, a chlorine equivalent that is suitable for the disinfection of hard surfaces and, according to the World Health Organization (WHO), is effective against the proliferation of the COVID-19 virus.
“As a result of the coordination and promptness of the Italian Civil Protection, De Nora has provided four units for the on-site production of large quantities of sodium hypochlorite,” said Luca Buonerba, De Nora Chief Marketing and Business Development Officer.
“We’re happy to send them to help community centers, public offices, nursing homes and hospitals to deal with this difficult situation. One of the advantages of the on-site electrochlorination systems is that they don’t require or generate hazardous chemicals and there’s no transportation of high-concentration bleach, so safety or availability are never compromised”.
Hypochlorite is produced using a simple saline solution - water and salt ? and electricity to produce chlorine-based solution.
De Nora has already provided similar systems in China, Japan and Singapore for the sanitization and disinfection of their own offices and production sites in response to COVID-19 outbreaks there.
In China, the city of Nankang is using two systems supplied by De Nora, originally for water purification, to aid in the disinfection of buildings and other public areas.
