-Tellurian announced to build a gas pipeline to link shale gas production in Permian and Driftwood LNG terminal on 8/4/2019.
-The project is expected to start up as early as 2023, the same year Driftwood is targeted to come online.
-Driftwood LNG and Driftwood Pipeline are expected to begin construction in 2019.

드리프트우드(Driftwood) LNG프로젝트를 추진하고 있는 텔루리안(Tellurian)은 드리프트우드 파이프라인을 건설할 계획이라고 지난 4월 8일 밝혔다. 

이 프로젝트는 퍼미안(Permian)의 세일 가스생산지로부터 드리프트우드 LNG터미널까지 하루에 20억 입방피트의 가스를 이송할 수 있는 가스파이프라인을 건설하는 37억 달러 규모의 사업이다. 

이 퍼미안 가스파이프라인은 드리프트 LNG플랜트의 가동날짜에 맞춰 2023년 초에 준공될 예정이다. 

드리프트우드(Driftwood) LNG프로젝트는 차트인더스티리즈(Chart Industries)의 액화 기술이 적용된 총 2천760만 톤의 액화플랜트를 루이지애나의 레이크찰스 지역에 건설하는 152억 달러 규모의 사업으로 2019년 중으로 착공에 들어가며 벡텔이 EPC를 맡고 있다.
