GF 파이프 시스템(GF Piping System)은 분해 없이 GF 수동 다이어프램 밸브(diaphragm valve)를 쉽고 빠르게 개·보수할 수 있는 혁신적인 신형 전기 밸브인 dEA 스마트 액추에이터(Smart Actuator)와 함께 'eDIASTAR 5시리즈' 다이어프램 밸브를 도입했다. 'eDIASTAR'는 볼륨 흐름을 자동으로 조절, 폐쇄 및 제어하도록 설계되어 있다.
GF 배관시스템(GF Piping System)의 밸브 및 작동 제품 관리자인 제프리 식스미스(Jeffrey Sixsmith)는 "다이아프램 밸브는 고형물이 함유된 매체를 취급할 뿐만 아니라 매우 선형적인 흐름 제어를 제공하는 것으로 알려져 있다"고 말했다.

'eDIASTAR' 밸브는 압축 공기 없이 격리된 밸브를 자동화한다.
새로운 밸브는 공장 전체 자동화에 대한 시장 수요 증가에 대응하여 도입되었다. 'eDIASTAR'를 사용하면 격리되거나 압축 공기 시스템에 접근할 수 없는 수동 작동 밸브를 자동화하여 발전소 효율성을 높일 수 있다. 밸브는 개방/폐쇄, 4-20mA 위치설정, 프로피버스(Profibus) 또는 모드버스(Modbus)로 제어될 수 있다.
사용 가능한 재료는 PVC, CPVC, 폴리프로필렌, ABS, PVDF로 1인치와 2인치(d32, d63) 사이즈가 있다. 150PSI 정격 압력, 엔드 연결은 소켓, 나사산, 플랜지, 퓨전 소켓 또는 퓨전 스피것에서 주문할 수 있다.
금속 나사가 없는 내구성 있는 올 플라스틱 구조는 부식을 방지하여 오염되거나 공격적이거나 연마성이 있는 용지와 함께 사용하더라도 최소한의 유지보수와 짧은 다운타임을 보장한다. 이것은 화학처리, 식품처리, 마이크로 전자 공학, 물과 하·폐수 처리, 발전, 냉각 및 제어에 적용하기에 매우 적합하다.

New Electric Diaphragm Valve Offers Fast Cycling
GF Piping Systems (GF) has introduced the eDIASTAR 5-Series Diaphragm Valve with the dEA Smart Actuator, an innovative new electric valve that allows easy and fast retrofitting of GF manual diaphragm valves without disassembly. The eDIASTAR is designed to regulate, close and control volume flows automatically.
“Diaphragm valves are known for providing very linear flow control as well as handling media that contains solids,” says Jeffrey Sixsmith, GF’s Valve and Actuation Product Manager.
“GF’s eDIASTAR Diaphragm Valve is more than twice as fast at cycling than other valves on the market. Additionally, the uniquely designed high flow valve body does not have the restricted flow associated with most diaphragm valves.”
The new valve was introduced in response to growing market demand for complete plant-wide automation. With the eDIASTAR, hand operated valves that are isolated or not accessible to a compressed air system thereby preventing actuation, can now be automated for greater plant efficiencies. The valve can be controlled as open/closed, 4-20mA positioning, Profibus or Modbus.
Available materials are PVC, CPVC, Polypropylene, ABS, and PVDF in sizes 1 and 2-inch (d32 and d63). Pressure rated at 150 PSI, end connections can be ordered in socket, threaded, flanged, fusion socket, or fusion spigot.
Durable, all- plastic construction without metal screws prevents corrosion, ensuring minimal maintenance and short downtimes, even in use with contaminated, aggressive or abrasive media. This makes it well suited for applications in chemical processing, food processing, microelectronics, water and wastewater treatment, power generation, and cooling and control.
Other important features include position feedback, solid state position sensing, automated learning mode, lightweight linkage, integrated emergency manual override, and maximum flow and linear characteristic curves for easier control.
