인도의 아다니그룹(Adani Group)이 추진하는 고다(Godda) 석탄화력발전소 프로젝트의 파이낸싱이 지난 4월 7일 완료됐다. 이 프로젝트는 생산되는 전력을 방글라데시로 수출하기 위해 1천600MW급 초초임계압(Ultra-Supercritical) 석탄화력발전소를 자르칸드(Jharkhand) 주의 고다 지역에 건설하는 21억 달러 규모의 사업이다. 2023년 완공을 목표로 하고 있다. 아다니그룹은 지난 2017년 11월에 방글라데시전력청(BPDB)와 전력공급계약(PPA)를 맺은 바 있다.
