▶Status:
-Elswedy & MHPS consortium was awarded a contract for EPC plus Financing on 3/4/2019.
-Elsewedy is responsible for EPC of BOP & the erection of gas & steam turbines. Its scope represents 65% of the project.
-MHPS will supply the core equipment, including two GT, one ST, three generators and two HRSG.
-The expansion project is planned to be completed in mid-2021.

샤자수전력청(SEWA)이 발주한 알라이야(Al-Layyah) 가스복합화력발전소 확장 프로젝트의 EPC와 파이낸싱 패키지를 이집트 엘스웨디(Elsewedy)와 일본 MHPS의 컨소시엄이 지난 4월 3일 5.5억 달러에 수주했다. 

이 프로젝트는 알라이야 가스복합화력발전소에 1천26MW를 추가하는 사업으로, 2021년 중순 완공을 목표로 하고 있다. MHPS는 지분 35%에 달하는 가스터빈, 스팀터빈 및 HRSG를 공급하고, 엘스웨디는 65%에 해당하는 BOP에 대한 EPC와 주기기 설치를 맡는다.
