-The project has released its EIS to start development on 6/3/2019.
-The project includes coal supply, coal gasification, gas processing, ammonia processing, CCPP & other utilities.
-Construction is expected to begin in mid-2020, with the first ammonia production proposed in mid-2022.

AFE(Australian Future Energy Pty Ltd)는 글래드스톤 에너지 및 암모니아 프로젝트에 대한 환경영향평가서(EIS)를 제출했다고 3월 6일 밝혔다. 

이 프로젝트는 연간 150만 톤의 석탄을 사용하여 23만 톤의 암모니아와 함께 합성가스 및 25MW의 전력을 생산하는 시설을 글래스톤개발지역에 건설하는 7.1억 달러(A$1B) 규모의 사업이다. 

이 프로젝트에는 석탄공급시스템, 석탄가스화플랜트, 가스처리시설, 암모니아 플랜트, 복합화력발전소, 그리고 동력 및 간접시설이 포함되어 있다. 건설공사는 2020년 중순에, 암모니아 생산은 2022년 중순으로 예정되어 있다.
