[일본] 도레이, 한국서 공기정화장치 합작회사 설립 

일본의 도레이 인더스터리사(Toray Industries Inc)는 공기 청정기의 조립 및 판매를 위해 한국의 정수기 및 필터 제조업체인 MCM Co Ltd와 합작회사를 설립할 예정이다. 

한국의 M&T Engineering Co Ltd(M&TE)는 MCM의 조립, 가공 및 자동화 전문지식을 토레이Toray의 섬유 및 필터 재료의 통합 설계 및 개발 기술과 결합하여 고성능 필터의 현지 생산 작업을 구축합니다. 

도레이는 2012년부터 중국의 섬유 생산기지인 Toray Fibers(Nantong) Co Ltd(TFNL)에서 공기필터용 부직포를 생산해오고 있다. M&TE는 TFNL의 부직포를 사용하는 필터를 조립한다. 

청호나이스 그룹의 일원인 MCM은 조인트 벤처에 60% 지분을, 토레이는 40%를 투자할 예정이다. 새로운 회사의 자본금은 약 6억 엔이 될 것으로 예상된다.

Toray to set up air filter JV in South Korea

Japan’s Toray Industries Inc is to establish a joint venture company with South Korean water purifier and filter manufacturer MCM Co Ltd for the assembly and sale of air filters. 

Jinchun-kun, South Korea-based M&T Engineering Co Ltd (M&TE) will combine MCM’s assembling, processing and automation expertise with Toray’s integrated design and development technology from fibres and filter materials to assembled units, to build a local production operation for high performance filters. 

Toray has been producing nonwoven fabric for air filters since 2012 at Toray Fibers (Nantong) Co Ltd (TFNL), its fibre production base in China. M&TE will assemble filters that use TFNL’s non-woven fabric. 

MCM, part of the Chung Ho Nais Group, will have a 60% stake in the joint venture, while Toray will invest 40%. The new company will be capitalized at about ￥600 million.
