[미국] 코흐멤브레인(KMS), WEFTEC서 MBR 기술 시연
멤브레인 필터기술 제조업체인 코흐 멤브레인 시스템(KMS, Koch Membrane Systems)은 물과 관련된 모든 것을 다루는 ‘2018 수질환경박람회(WEFTEC 2018)’에서 제품을 선보일 예정이다.
WEFTEC은 미국 루이지애나의 뉴올린스 모리얼(New Orleans Morial) 컨벤션센터에서 9월 29일부터 10월 3일까지 열릴 예정이며, KMS는 최저 에너지 멤브레인 생물 반응기(MBR)를 달성하는 데 어떻게 도움이 되는 지 시연할 예정이다.
KMS의 펄션(Pulsion) MBR 모듈은 차세대 푸론(Puron) MBR 모듈로 40%의 폭기 에너지 절감 및 25%의 공간을 절약할 수 있다. KMS는 운영비용을 절감하고 시스템 안정성을 향상시키며 유지관리 및 운영을 단순화한다고 설명한다.
KMS는 또한 기존 인프라를 사용하여 기존의 기존 시스템 또는 플랫 시트 및 중공 사막 MBR 시스템을 업그레이드하여 고객이 공간(footprint)을 줄이고 용량을 확장할 수 있도록 지원한다.
KMS 관계자는 “WEFTEC 2018에서는 여과 시스템의 수명주기 전반에 걸쳐 고객과 파트너 관계를 맺고있는 KMS Assist에 관해 설명할 것이다”라고 말했다.
KMS는 막 공정 최적화, 플랜트 감사 및 문제 해결, 데이터 수집, 분석 및 보고, 운영자 교육 및 전화 지원을 제공한다.

Koch Membrane Systems to exhibit at WEFTEC
Manufacturer of membrane filtration technologies, Koch Membrane Systems (KMS), will be showcasing its products at this year’s WEFTEC, the 91st annual technical exhibition and conference covering all things related to water.
WEFTEC will take place between 29 September and 3 October at the New Orleans Morial Convention Center in Louisiana and Koch Membrane Systems will be demonstrating how they can help achieve the lowest energy membrane bioreactor (MBR).
The company’s Pulsion MBR module, the next generation of its Puron MBR module, will be on show, offering up to 40% aeration energy reduction and a 25% footprint reduction. KMS says it reduces operating costs, improves system reliability and simplifies maintenance and operations.
The company also offers retrofits to upgrade existing conventional systems or flat-sheet and hollow fibre MBR systems, using existing infrastructure, to help clients reduce their footprint and expand capacity.
Finally, KMS experts will be on hand to talk about KMS Assist, a service which partners with clients throughout the lifecycle of their filtration system. The company provides membrane process optimization, plant audits and troubleshooting, data collection, analysis and reporting, operator training and telephone support.
